Mark Evans promoted to Executive Committee of Direct Line Group

Mark Evans has been promoted to the executive committee of Direct Line Group, moving up from marketing director to managing director of marketing and digital.

Mark will continue to lead marketing across all of Direct Line’s platforms, as well as now managing all digital capabilities as the group focuses on delivering an end-to-end customer experience. He will join the Group’s executive committee alongside two further appointments: Kate Syred, managing director of household and partnerships, and Gus Park, managing director of motor, pricing and underwriting.

Hunter-Miller were delighted to announce Mark’s appointment as Direct Line’s marketing director in 2012. Prior to this, he headed up customer management at HSBC, and held a number of commercial, digital and marketing roles at 118118. Mark began his career at Mars.
